Brookie Boo Turns Two!
This past weekend was our niece and goddaughter Brooke's second birthday! She had a great birthday party at Grandma's house and all the kids had a great time! The hit of the party was the playhouse that Grandma and Grandpa got Brooke-all of the kids absolutely loved it! Even though it took Brookie a minute to figure things out, eventually she, her sister Allison, and their cousins Katelynn and Averie all piled into the little house-they were so cute!
Amelia finally got to check things out for herself!
Alli cheesing;)
Brooke's so proud of her house;)
We had a great day at the party, but later that day Amelia started running a fever still had it Sunday, and Monday so we went to the pediatrician Monday. The doctor said she thinks it's just a viral infection right now and it should get better in a few days-we hope that's all it is! Amelia has felt so bad and been so pitiful-she just wants Mommy to hold her all the time and of course I'd do anything to make her feel better! Monday afternoon she's looked alot better and her fever's down for now so hopefully it's almost over. Chris had his eye laser surgery Monday also so he was feeling terrible for a few hours as well but hopefully all will be well in the Wolsiefer house on Tuesday!
Ready for Spring!
We are so happy that spring is finally on it's way! With the beginning of warmer weather we have been going outside more and more with Amelia and she loves it (much like her Daddy there)! She loves to swing at Grandma's house and play with her cousins Allison and Brooke. At home we've been swinging on the backporch swing and playing in the yard a few times. It's nice to get out of the house and get some fresh air after what seemed like the longest winter ever! What's even more fun is to see Amelia experience new surroundings and really take in the outdoors-it's so sweet! I am really looking forward to all the new experiences this summer will hopefully hold for her like going to the park, the zoo, swimming (maybe even the beach!!). Here's a few pictures of Amelia playing lately:

Can't stop me now!
Ever since Amelia has started crawling really well and pulling up on things, it has become increasingly difficult to keep her contained for any amount of time! She is definitely a "mommy's girl" and has a semi-meltdown whenever I leave her sight, and even when I am within sight she has to be touching me, even if just sitting by my feet while I cook. I love that she wants to be with me, but it has made our days interesting lately!
Amelia still loves to play with phoebe's ball the best but we she's gotten a few new toys lately that she enjoys too! She starting trying to push her standing toys around so we bought her a push toy that she can actually push and she did a pretty good job walking behind it, and she loves to be pushed while riding it! We also got out another toy that she got for Christmas and put it together (of course it sings and lights up and moves-what doesn't)! Here's Amelia trying out her new ride!

Let me begin by saying that I CANNOT believe that our little baby is 9 months old! I don't mean to sound cliche because I hear people say this all the time, and the old "They grow so fast" line as well, but I truly cannot believe that 9 months have past since we brought this little amazing person home! Sometimes I look at her and don't remember how we got here. She surprises me everyday, not because the things she does are so different than any other baby, but that I look at her and think she's the week old infant we brought home. I love seeing her change and grow and learn, and I am so thankful that she is healthy and able to reach all of her milestones, it just baffles me how quickly she has become this little person who has opinions and likes vs. dislikes, not just needs. She cracks me up all the time with her personality and her new occasional fits (typically when I try to put her shirt on or take paper away from her:) I know that her first birthday is just around the corner even though it seems like that should be years away! I am excited to see what everyday holds for her, so I try not to take a single day for granted, good or not so great, and cherish each moment!

On the Move!
Amelia has really been growing lately and actually wearing her 6 month clothes-well some of them. She's actually still wearing most of her 3-6 month clothes but just started fitting into some 6 months. She's eating everything now and when anyone around her is eating she thinks she needs some of it! This is Amelia this past Sunday after church (she's supported against the couch but does a great job at holding herself up!).

Happy Valentine's Day
For Amelia's first Valentine's Day I just wanted to spend the day together as a family so Chris thought it would be nice to take a road trip (even though a road trip with an 8 month old sounds scary-it actually was really nice!). We started out just going to a boat shop (Chris' idea of course), but after we left there it was still early so we decided to go to Louisville to the Bass Pro Shop (once again Chris' idea-haha). We had a good time just looking around and if you've ever been to a Bass Pro Shop, you know that there's lots of things that Amelia enjoyed looking at. She loved the aquarium! When we got back in town, we went out to eat with a couple friends and there little boy Carden who is 11 weeks younger than Amelia. They were so cute together and people kept asking if they were twins (oh if only!!). We all really enjoyed the day just being together!
