Merry Christmas!

Now that we're finally catching up from the holidays and new year, I'm finally updating the blog to show you a few highlights from Christmas. This year was a little different than before, one, because even though I was pregnant during Christmas with Amelia too, I was just past the dreadful first trimester sickness. However, this year the timing was not quite as convenient, so I hope my frequent runaways didn't damper anyone's holiday spirit-or appetite-LOL! Second, Amelia just happened to be sick the whole week before Christmas too, but thankfully felt better just in time for Christmas Eve and day! And third, I had to work Christmas Eve so we weren't able to go to my family's for Christmas Eve dinner;( All things considered though, we had a great Christmas with our families, with so much to be thankful for-me and Chris got to celebrate our 5th Christmas together since we were married, having the joy of seeing Amelia experience Christmas for the second year, and being so blessed to have another baby on the way, to name a few!

Our celebrations started the weekend before Christmas, with the Wolsiefer family dinner-here's Amelia being silly when we got there. Too bad later that night was the start of a long week of sickness for our poor sweetie;( But we had a good night!
Christmas Eve we went to Chris' Aunt Michelle's house for dinner. After a long week of Amelia being pretty sick, it was a last minute decision to go, and I'm glad we did because she had a great time. I went to work from their house and Chris took Amelia home to tuck her in for Santa to come;) Luckily I got off work at 1am instead of 7am, so I was able to go home and get some sleep-which worked out great!!
With some much appreciated sleep, we all woke up for Christmas morning to see what Santa brought! Amelia loved her rocking horse, her table and chairs, Dora movie, blocks, puzzles, sippy cups, and potty chair-geeze Santa sure is good! After opening gifts at home we headed over to Chris' parents house to spend Christmas Day. Amelia helped make the scrambled eggs for breakfast before we opened gifts;)
After breakfast we opened gifts-Amelia got a baby stroller and doll that she opened first, and loved it so much she didn't want to open anything else, but after we hid that she was ok again-haha! She loved her gifts, and really loved Brookies' baby doll stuff that she got too!! Hope everyone else had a great Christmas too!
