Baby #2

Here's a look at the yet-to-be-revealed new baby! I got an ultrasound just for fun at work a couple nights ago and it showed exactly what I thought-that this baby is chubby and very crowded. I really didn't need 4D technology to tell ya that but the pics are pretty cute!
Yep that big foot is poking me all day every day (and I love it).
Chubby cheeks+chubby lips+chubby arm=preciousness!

There are lots of preparations going on around our house right now trying to get ready for the new baby. Today I am 35 weeks and 2 days, which means that sometime in the next 5 weeks this baby is coming-ready or not!! Chris has been working hard on Amelia's big girl room that she's moving to, and I've been getting all of the baby things out and washing and organizing. Nothing like waiting till the last minute! I've been feeling good overall but the last week or so I'm definitely moving slower and feeling it more! I've gotten some pretty humorous reactions from people lately when they see me and my ever-growing belly, some being: :"how much longer...really?" and "where did your ankles go" and my all-time favorite "GOOD GOD RACHEL!" Yes my belly is impressively massive-it's a contradiction of gravity that I can even walk upright, but I'm hanging in there and keeping this baby happy and healthy as long as he/she would like!

Panama City Beach 2010

The first Wolsiefer Family Vacation was a blast! We left the last Friday of May and stayed the whole week. At first we planned on going halfway and staying overnight-mainly because I thought my preggo self couldn't make it the whole way in one day, but we drove the whole way through down and back and everyone did surprisingly well! My feet survived, and Amelia was an angel! The week went way too fast, filled with lots of activities and some rest and relaxation too;) The first full day we just swam and went out to eat at Marguaritaville. We spent one incredibly hot day playing put-put, the guys played golf, the girls had a night of shopping and eating, rented a pontoon boat and went to Shell Island, and went to Gulf World (a small SeaWorld-type place where we saw a dolphin show and a sealion show). Amongst all of those activities we spent lots of time swimming and enjoying the beach, dinners together almost every evening, and late nights on the balcony. Here's just a few snapshots out of literally hundreds of pictures from the week! So many memories were made;)

Amelia's 2nd Birthday

I can say it over and over again, but I really cannot believe that two years have passed since our baby girl was born! She is changing and learning more everyday, surprising us with new words, phrases, gestures. We are truly blessed to have her in our lives!
We had a great Dora themed party at our house the weekend of her birthday. There were presents, good food, cake, family, friends, fishing, boat rides, playing in the sand, wiffle ball....everything and more that our girl deserves to celebrate the joy she brings to everyone!

Showing off her new Dora outfit;)

Those are little Dora, Diego, and Boots characters in the corner;)

Using her new Dora fishing pole for the first time

The day after her party was her actual birthday so Chris and I took her to Gatti Town for a small celebration. She had a blast playing games and picked out a new bag and goodies with her prize points. Good times!

And if she weren't lucky enough to have two parties, her babysitter threw her a little party too! They got to eat pizza and cupcakes, splash in the kiddie pool, and have a pinata.

just a tidbit

Here's just a couple pictures from our camping trip earlier this month that I mentioned I couldn't find. We went camping to go to Chris' little second cousin's birthday party. Amelia had a blast keeping up with all the little 6 year olds!
Like I said before it flooded that weekend so we spent alot of our "camping" time inside the camper. Thank goodness for prtable DVD players and a little friend we call Nemo!

Blogging hiatus no more!

Please excuse the blogging hiatus-it definitely does not mean that I haven't had anything to blog about. Quite the contrary actually-May has been VERY busy for us, contributing in part to the here-said lack of blogging. We've had so much going on that I can't really remember it all! We started out the month by going on our first camping trip to Bowling Green. Our friends let us borrow their pop up camper and I'm sooo glad because that just happened to be the weekend that it flooded! We had a good time though (if I could find the pics i would post them;(...) We also got to see my family while we were in town-it was so cute to see all the babies together! The next weekend was Mother's Day and for some reason I don't have a picture of that either. If I remember clearly the day was full of my raging sinus infection, Amelia getting a bloody nose, failed banana pudding....not a smooth day to worry about the camera but it was a good day! Then we celebrated Chris' and our good friend Travis' birthdays in the same weekend. The next weekend was Amelia's BIG 2nd birthday party, and the last weekend in May we left for Florida, where we just got back from yesterday. Of course the birthday party and beach are worthy of their own posts so stay tuned!!

All the girls with Papaw on Chris' birthday;)

At the park for Travis' party

Somewhere in the madness Chris found time to work on our landscaping too, which Amelia LOVES to help with!
