A VERY Belated Blog Post!!

This is Amelia's hilarious "cheese" smile, and she's carrying her own "make-ups" bag full of old makeup and lotions that I didn't want-she just had to have her own!
At cousin Brooke's 3rd birthday party

Reorganizing the refrigerator-in style of course with her tutu;)

Sunglasses make every cupcake taste better-right?

And our new favorite thing to do since our first Pump It Up adventure: BOUNCING!

Yes I just noticed that my last blog post was about Christmas, and even though that was in January...that is a very long time! It definitely doesn't mean that nothing has happened, only that everyday life has become very busy, leading to less time on the computer! Amelia just turned 22 months old and is changing every day! She is such a funny girl, very stubborn, and down right sassy at times;) Of course I love everything about my precious baby girl-here are some of my favorite things:

when she "mothers" her baby doll-kissing her night-night, pushing her in her stroller, feeding her...

how much she loves to dress up, always putting on her tutu, hats, and sunglasses-even out in public!
how she rubs her belly and legs when we change her clothes like she loves to feel her soft skin;)

how much she LOVES her "Daddaay"-she asks where he is all day long, runs to meet him at the door, and will easily give him hugs and kisses before anyone else!

It sounds bad but I love watching Amelia's "sorry" face-when she's in trouble there is a whole dramatic procedure of 1) processing the events that have taken place, 2) heart breaking-this involves hanging her head, sticking her lip out, and breathing very heavily raising her shoulders up and down, 3) about 30 seconds into this she starts to cry and finally says "soo-yyy", at which point I melt and there's lots of hugs-WHEW DRAMA!

how easily she plays with other children-at the babysitters, library, playground-she's my little social butterfly;)

...however her new occasional bouts of bashfulness don't lack in the sweetness department either;)

how she can eat everything in sight of her and still ask for more;

when she wants me to feed her (which she can do herself) or wants me to carry her down the stairs and so on, she yells "HEEELP" in the most pitiful way!

when she says "pease" and "tanks", "welc" (you're welcome), and "cuse" (excuse me) :)

Of course there are several moments everyday when I laugh out loud and my heart breaks because of how she amazes me! I am so anxious to see how she is going to react to a new baby being around-especially taking her mommy's attention!
